The popular messaging program WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is apparently working on a new optional subscription package that would provide additional functionality to business accounts. WhatsApp is preparing to change the user interface for the ‘Linked Device’ area for WhatsApp Business accounts, as per the WABetaInfo. According to the reports, the app uses a new description for the multi-device functionality following the update. “Add numerous devices to your account so that various personnel in your business may talk to a client in the same chat,” according to the report’s screenshot.

According to the firm, the optional subscriptions plan will provide additional capabilities such as adding more than four devices to the multi-device function and more. Other services will be disclosed when the update will be released. WhatsApp will be voluntary, and the program will remain free to use. According to the rumor, the messaging app may soon allow you to post your profile on social networking networks.

In related news, WhatsApp is most likely developing another new feature in which the messaging app will introduce the function to hide your ‘last seen’ status from a particular person in your contacts.
