Meta’s Latest App, Threads, Achieves 30 million Users Within 24 Hours
Threads, a newly launched Twitter-like application, is so far ruling social media. Yes, users are signing up like crazy on a daily basis. Users’ engagement with Threads to such an extent is coming out totally unexpected for Meta. It is, of course, a lot surprising that within 24 hours, Threads has attracted 30+ million users.
‘Threads’ is ruling social media
‘Threads’ has been introduced as a safe platform for public conversation and fresh updates. The most interesting part about threads is that it is connected to Instagram. You can easily sign up for Threads with your already existing Instagram account. Furthermore, it connects your Insta followers to Threads. That is why creators with millions of Insta followers are able to gain a large number of followers on threads so quickly. Fascinating, right?
In addition to this, there’s an option to add and hide a badge that appears on your profile, letting your Insta followers know that you are on Threads. Just by tapping on the badge, you are directed to anyone’s Thread profile. It is entirely fun using Threads. However, according to the updates, deleting your Threads account also deletes your Instagram account.
Threads is increasing its user base rapidly and is involving people in conversations and discussions. There has been noticed a lot of humor in Threads. The app seems to work as the best alternative for Twitter. However, Meta’s still trying to add more interesting elements to the app. No doubt, Threads is challenging Twitter in terms of its features and performance. An odd silence, plus a lot of curiosity, has been noticed on the part of Elon Musk.
Regardless of the fact that it’s a copy of Twitter and driving Instagram users strategically, Threads is becoming a fast-growing app on the internet. Mark Zuckerberg is hoping to engage and drive users in a number that Twitter failed to achieve. If you are still unfamiliar with Threads, give it a try and check it out for yourself. Stay engaged with more such updates!
