Snapchat is exploring a paid membership tier called Snapchat Plus (or Snapchat+) which would allow users advanced access to prototype features including pinning certain chats and unique iconography. The business hasn’t said what features Snapchat Plus subscribers will receive or when it will be available.
It’s unclear how Snapchat will distinguish between what’s given to Snapchat Plus users — who pay for the pleasure of using experimental and pre-release features — and what’s presented to people who are already enrolled in Snapchat’s free beta programme.

Snapchat responds to the queries

“We’re doing early internal testing of Snapchat Plus, a new subscription service for Snapchatters. We’re excited about the potential to share exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features with our subscribers, and learn more about how we can best serve our community,” a company spokesperson said.

This will grant you access to features such as a special badge, the ability to pin a profile as your #1 BFF so you can easily send Snaps or chat with them, exclusive Snapchat symbols, and the ability to view how many friends have rewatched your story in the last 24 hours. In addition, if your friends have enabled location sharing, you may see where they’ve been in the recent 24 hours.  Snapchat will have to explain how it stores this data, as this function seems like a confidentiality catastrophe if it falls into the wrong hands.

Snapchat+ would cost 4.59 euros for a one-month subscription and 45.99 euros for a year, according to a report emerged. It would be Snapchat’s first subscription service, allowing users to submit content stories, play games, and scroll through a TikTok-style feature called Spotlight.
