How Does Clickbait Work?
Any content written to get clicks is called Clickbait. It can incorporate any web content, from news stories to blog entries, infographics, recordings, meetings, and that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

Common components of Clickbait Content are:
– A catchy or compelling headline; a strong emotional appeal; scannable, web-optimized content; witty copy.
– Content intended for social media sharing; although this type of content is frequently attributed to online media.
– It has existed since the beginning of print journalism.

When newspapers competed for circulation numbers in the 19th century, they discovered that using catchy headlines to entice readers was the most effective strategy.

In recent years, clickbait has received negative press. People are rightfully wary of making sensationalist claims in the age of misinformation. However, when done correctly, clickbait is one of the most effective strategies for attracting readers to your content.

The most important thing is to provide more than just a catchy headline once they arrive at your website.
