According to the outage monitoring website Downdetector, Instagram was unavailable for thousands of users on Thursday, September 22, 2022. According to Downdetector, which analyses outages by compiling status updates from a variety of sources including user-submitted issues on its platform, around 19,000 people were experiencing difficulties accessing the Meta Platform (META.O). The number of people who may be impacted by the outage, however, may be higher.
