How to change the name of your channel?

 

 

To change the name of your YouTube channel from your desktop, go to the YouTube studio and then to the customization option, where you’ll find the basic info tab. You can modify your channel name by clicking the edit icon, and then clicking publish to save it. To update the name of your channel from your phone, tap on your profile picture and then select your channel. After clicking on Edit Channel, you may change the name of your channel and then hit OK. Keep in mind that it may take a few days for your new name to appear on YouTube once you change it. You’ll have to reapply for a verification badge if you change the name of your channel.

 

How to update your profile picture?

Go to the YouTube studio and then select customization to update your profile image from your desktop. After that, go to the branding page, click upload, and choose the image you wish to use as your profile photo. You can also change the size of your image and then click “Done” once it fits. To save it, click “publish.” Tap your profile image and then your channel to update your profile photo from your mobile phone. Go to the edit channel, then profile picture, where you can either select a photo or upload one from a file, then save. You can’t use animated GIFs, so make sure your image is in JPEG, GIF, BMP, or PNG format. The dimensions must be 98×98 pixels, with an image size recommendation of 800×800 pixels and a maximum file size of 4 MB.
