At first, it sounds a little old news as this feature isn’t new to users as other platforms had this

Up until now, Instagram only lets you pin other people’s comments. Since 2020, you could
highlight up to three replies from your audience – usually the ones who resonate well with your
contents.

Now, Instagram is extending that power to creators themselves. Which means that if you want to
add extra info, drop an update, or simply give your words a little main-character energy – you
can pin your own comment right at the top.

This update may seem small, but it opens up a ton of possibilities:

The process is pretty simple:

1. Post as usual.
2. Drop a comment under your own post.
3. Swipe left on it.
4. Hit Pin.

Done. Your words are locked to the top, alongside up to three total pinned comments (a mix of
yours or your audience’s). The one catch? You still can’t pin clickable links as Instagram’s keeping that door closed for now.
